In December 2019, Sammet participated in Marintec China. This exhibition capped off an outstanding year of unprecedented growth and signalled Sammet’s importance as a major player in the Asian maritime market. Marintec China is Asia’s largest exhibition specialising in the maritime industry and highlights China’s position as a key, global player. In a record-breaking year, 2,200 exhibitors and 71,736  professional visitors from 100 countries, gathered in Shanghai. The popularity and scale of the event highlights the growing significance of the Asian maritime market.

Sammet used this opportunity to showcase our world class marine products in full.  Valuable connections were established with potential partners and suppliers from Asia, Europe and the Americas. During the four day exhibition, the Sammet team was able to share and learn new insights about the dynamic ship scrubber and catalyst markets.

In all our interactions, participants had a clear message: It is important to be close to customers and offer local manufacturing capacity.  We were delighted to learn that customers value Sammet’s high quality products and appreciate our localisation strategy.
