Growing in strength

One year after COVID-19 changed the world, Sammet is looking forward to a promising future. New opportunities are emerging and there is rapid growth in confirmed projects. Increased sea traffic is translating into new scrubber installations and sales. Sammet is seeing similar positive developments in our land and power business. Our teams have gained strength from the experiences of the last year and we have been inspired by the tenacity of our partners in riding out the uncertainty.

Our innovations continue to improve energy efficiency and reduce harmful emissions. As the global leader in dampers, we are constantly collaborating with our partners to develop next generation clean technology. We feel privileged to be working with our partners to look after the environment and generate economic benefits for customers. In this issue you can read how our partnership with Caligo Industria Oy has evolved. Since 2013, Sammet has been supplying dampers to Caligo for the flue gas scrubbers that form part of their innovative heat recovery technology.

Our presence in India is also growing. India is an important and growing market for us and we are strengthening our commitment to support our partners and customers in all regions. The Q&A in this issue of the Sammet Review provides information for potential customers about our presence in the Indian market. It also provides insight into Sammet’s ability to meet urgent, customer deliveries.

Related to this, is part two in our three part series exploring Sammet’s project management process. From the moment a customer contacts Sammet, they are in safe hands. Once a quote is accepted, the project management process transitions from a sale to the production. Customers are at the centre of everything we do and Sammet teams work hard to translate their needs into high quality products. Read about what to expect when working with Sammet here.

Growth brings mutual benefit. We have recently announced an extended co-operation with Wärtsilä, a leading supplier of power plant, energy management and storage system solutions. With a brighter future ahead, Sammet is seeking agents to strengthen its footprint in its key markets of Europe, Asia and Latin America.
This issue of the Sammet Review is filled with promise of new possibilities. Commitment to and from our partners during trying times has strengthened our relationships. With this strength comes a commitment to each other, our customers and the environment.
