Sammet Stack Dampers utilise a reliable and thoroughly tested technology with automatic and adjustable pressure relief function, opening the damper once needed. Stack dampers can be installed in the chimney itself - or before the chimney in a horisontal duct. Damper installation position can be either horsiontal or vertical.

Keeping the rainwater out

Sammet has developed a robust and weatherproof design for Stack dampers, including a rainwater gully collecting rainwater and preventing if from entering the duct system. A special piping system can be attached to lead the rainwater out of damper's gully. This function enables safe and reliable operation in even the severest climate, such as Arctic Siberia or coastal regions with heavy rainfall.

Preventing unneccessary cooling down

During plant shutdown phases, Sammet Stack Dampers will serve as energy-savers by preventing heat from running out of plant via chimney.
