To maximise the gas tighness, Sammet has a full range of dampers offering the full 100% tightness level. This very demanding requirement can be achieved by adding over pressure of sealing air inside the damper's blade structure. This ensures that not even a smallest amount of gas in the channel could pass through the damper when closed.

	Sealing air system is available for many damper types, including louvers, butterfies and guillotines. To avoid corrosion caused by temperature differencies, sealing air can also be pre-heated to suitable temperature better matching the surrounding ducts' conditions.
